I didn't grow up wanting to be a designer. I grew up making messes.
I was the kind of kid who got completely absorbed in making things, hours spent in our "art room" that doubled as the laundry room, usually leaving it worse than I found it. My dad lost two pairs of khaki work pants to some very suspicious yellow paint. My mom started labeling her fabric supplies so I'd stop raiding them. They both saw it coming long before I did.
That instinct never left. It just grew up with me.
Now I design brand identities, campaigns, and visual systems, all self-initiated and built around real-world problems for brands that could exist tomorrow. I ask a lot of questions, follow ideas past the obvious first answer, and stay in it until something feels genuinely right, not just safe. The goal is always work that pulls people in, magnetic by design, not by accident.
